BUYERS, SELLERS, AND LOCAL NON-PROFIT AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS MAY USE OUR FREE MOVING TRUCK!
If you are one of our clients who are in the process of buying or selling a home with a Century 21 Covered Bridges Realty, Inc. agent you may use our truck for FREE!  Also, charitable organizations in our community are welcome to use our truck when needed.

ARE THERE ANY LIMITATIONS OF SERVICE AREA?

The Century 21 Covered Bridges Realty moving truck is available for use for any clients who are moving within a 50 mile radius.

AVAILABILITY OF RENTAL PERIOD
Once you know when you would like to use the truck, contact your Century 21 Covered Bridges Realty, Inc. agent who will coordinate with our truck manager to schedule your moving truck appointment.

HOW LONG CAN I USE THE MOVING TRUCK?

23 hours from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. the following day (Saturday and Sunday TBD)

 

DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL LICENSE OR ANY OTHER REQUIREMENT TO USE THE TRUCK?

No!  If you can legally drive a car and are at least 21 years old, then you can drive the truck.

REQUEST YOUR RESERVATION
Simply select the rental period that works best for you, complete the Moving Truck Rental Request Form and the Truck Rental Agreement and provide them to your agent (be sure to follow up with your agent to be sure they received them, because your period is not officially reserved UNTIL YOU ARE CONTACTED BY OUR TRUCK MANAGER who will confirm your request.)

RESERVATIONS
Reservations are on a “first come first served” basis. You may book no more than one rental period when making your reservation. 
Important: Priority is given to clients that are in the process of moving as a result of a current buy or sell with our brokerage. If two people request the same rental period, priority will be given to the request that was entered first. Please contact your Century 21 Covered Bridges Realty agent to schedule the truck!

REQUIRED INFORMATION
When you pick up the truck, you will need to bring three items. If any of these items are not present, we will not be able to give you the truck.

  1. A Valid driver’s license (Renter must be a minimum of 21 years old)
  2. A valid insurance card (matching the driver’s license. Please check to insure the card IS NOT expired).
  3. A check for a security deposit of $100.00 payable to Century 21 Covered Bridges Realty, Inc. which is returned upon the truck having a full tank of gas at the end of the rental period (renter to provide the gas receipt).

PICKING UP THE TRUCK
Meet with our truck manager at the agreed time to provide documentation, complete paperwork and receive instructions and the keys.

WHERE DO I GO TO PICK UP THE TRUCK?
The truck is picked up at our office located at 395 Tenny Street, Bloomsburg, PA.   Please fill out the rental agreement and provide it to our truck manager prior to picking up the truck, which will expedite the process.

WHO CAN USE THE MOVING TRUCK?
The moving truck is reserved for clients of Century 21 Covered Bridges Realty agents, as well as charitable community and non-profit organizations.

CAN I USE THE TRUCK IF I AM GOING TO BUY OR SELL IN THE FUTURE WITH YOUR BROKERAGE?
If you are currently not in the process of selling or buying your home, then you may not use the truck.

WHAT IF THE TRUCK IS NOT RETURNED BY MY RENTAL TIME?
We do everything in our power to make sure the truck is available on your reservation date. However, in circumstances beyond our control such as a renter not returning the truck on time, or a mechanical issue with the truck, your reservation will be cancelled. We bear no financial responsibility if a circumstance beyond our control prevents us from providing the truck for your use during your scheduled rental time.

WHAT IF I NEED THE TRUCK LONGER THAN ONE RENTAL PERIOD?
We only allow each client to reserve one day per household/client per month. No more than one rental period is allowed at any time.

WHAT IF MY MOVE DOESN'T FALL WITHIN ONE OF YOUR RENTAL PERIODS?
The rental periods are designed to keep truck scheduling simplified. If your move does not fall within one of our rental periods, then you must pick the best availability that will allow you to make maximum use of the truck.

CAN MY RESERVATION BE BUMPED?
That may happen in rare cases only such as when our truck is unavailable for mechanical or other unforeseen issues.

HOW LATE CAN I COME IN TO FILL OUT PAPERWORK?
The Moving Truck Rental Request Form and the Truck Rental Agreement should be completed and emailed or delivered to your Century 21 Covered Bridges Realty agent when requesting a truck reservation.  Once your reservation is confirmed and you are scheduled for your rental period, be prepared the day and time of your rental period to come to our office, provide our truck manager your driver’s license, a valid insurance card, and a deposit.  At that time you will complete the final paperwork and get the keys so you can get moving!

HOW LATE CAN I PICK UP THE TRUCK?
Your pick up time for the truck will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday through Friday and the return should be 23 hours later, at 9:00 a.m.

CAN I PICK UP THE TRUCK EARLIER THAN MY RENTAL PERIOD IF IT’S AVAILABLE?
Unfortunately we do not allow you to pick up the truck prior to your rental period. This allows us to have it free and available for last minute uses that may only require an hour or two for a small task.

CAN I DROP OFF THE TRUCK LATER THAN MY RENTAL PERIOD?
Unfortunately we cannot allow you to keep the truck past the end of your rental period, regardless of when you picked it up. Our clients schedule their move around a rental period, and your delay could cause them unnecessary problems. If you have an unforeseen circumstance, please contact us right away at 570-784-2821, 570-854-3522 or 570-204-0279 and let us know so that we can try to help.

WHEN WILL MY RESERVATION REQUEST BE CONFIRMED?
You will receive an email telling you your request is confirmed from our truck manager. If you do not receive an email confirmation within two business days (not until the following Monday if request is submitted on a Saturday or Sunday) of your request, then contact the office at 570-784-2821.

WHO DO I CONTACT IF I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE TRUCK WHILE I AM USING IT?
Contact our truck manager at 570-854-3522 (or our office phone line 570-784-2821 is monitored Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm.)

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROBLEMS WITH THE TRUCK DURING MY USE?
If the problem is caused by the renter (out of gas, wrong type of gas, flat tire, struck an object, etc.), it is the renters responsibility to take care of the problem as quickly as possible as well as report the problem to our truck manager. If there is a mechanical problem, contact the truck manager.  If the truck is involved in an accident, you must report the accident to the proper authorities right away as well as to our truck manager.

WHAT HAPPENS IF:   I DAMAGE THE TRUCK, IF I DON’T CLEAN THE TRUCK OUT, OR IF THE GAS TANK IS NOT FILLED?

If the truck is returned with damage or is not cleaned out, we will contact you about your financial responsibility for the necessary repairs/cleaning.  If the tank is not full upon return, your $100.00 check will be used to fill the truck for the next reservation.

RETURNING THE TRUCK
When you are finished using the truck, simply fill up the gas tank and return it to our office along with the gas receipt (Sheetz is conveniently located across the street from our office so you could fill up just before returning the truck). Make sure you return it no later than the end of your rental period, as other clients may have reserved the time right after you.
